Decision in black deer hunting case today, Salman may be imprisoned for six years


Salman Khan has three cases in the case of hunting and 1 case in the Arms Act.

- Accused of hunting the deer at Jodhpur's horse farmhouse and Bhurabh village on 27-28 September 1998. Accused of hunting 2 black deer on October 1 in Kankani village. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre are also accused in all cases.


How many cases were sentenced, how many remaining?

1) Kankani village case: In this case, the decision is to come today.
2) Horse Farm House Case: On April 10, 2006, the CJM Court had sentenced to 5 years. Salman went to High Court. He was acquitted on July 25, 2016. The state government has appealed against this decision in the Supreme Court.
3) Bhavaad village case: CJM Court convicted Salman on February 17, 2006 and sentenced to one year's sentence. The High Court has acquitted Salman in this case too. The state government has appealed against the verdict in the Supreme Court.
4) Arms Case: On January 18, 2017, the court acquitted Salman. The state government has appealed against this decision in the high court.


Salman spent 18 days in jail for 18 days

In 3 cases of deer hunting, Salman has spent 18 days in police and judicial custody for 18 days.
6 days: The forest department was detained on October 12, 1998. He remained in jail till October 17
6 days: On April 10, 2006, in the case of the horse form, Salman was sentenced to 5 years by the lower court. Stay in jail until April 15.
6 days: The sessions court confirmed this sentence. Then from 26 to 31 August 2007, Salman was in jail.

Why Saif Ali, Neelam, Sonali and Tabu accused?
- In the Kankani village hunting case, witnesses had told the court that after hearing the bullet they reached the spot. The victim had done Salman. Saif Ali, Neelam, Sonali and Tabu were also with them in the jeep. These are accused of inciting Salman. Seeing the villagers, Salman left the dead deer and left the car.

How much punishment can be done?
- Under Section 149 of the Wild Life Act, there is a maximum punishment of 7 years for hunting a black deer. Until a few years ago, it was 6 years. Salman's case is 20 years old, in which he can be punished for maximum 6 years. The same will apply to the rest of the accused even on the accused.
